sincerely, wool& (summer 2023)

Hey! It’s been awhile. And we’re long overdue for an update. We hope your summer season has been a mixture of just the right amount of relaxation and adventure. We’ve been quite busy growing the team, developing new product, and strategizing ways to give you the best possible customer experience. When we’re not doing all of that, we are finding moments for celebration, travel, and quality time with friends and family this summer.

dev team trip to korea

Our Product Development Team traveled to South Korea to visit our factories this past spring. They got to see every part of the supply chain process—visiting the spinning mill, sample room, knitting mill, dyeing mill, dye lab, and sewing factory. They spent lots of time learning from our factory partners, eating new and delicious cuisine, and of course, taking in all of the vibrant colors and sights South Korea has to offer.

community feature & website updates

We have a new section on our product pages called “community feature,” where we feature members of our wool& community linked from Instagram. Find this section located below the product reviews! Not every style has photos at the moment but we are slowly adding them as we find new community photos.

Ways to increase your chances of being featured on this page:

1. Tag wool& = @wool.and in your posts so we can see them and follow along!

2. Set your profile to public.

3. Use hashtags! You can use challenge hashtags (#100daydresschallenge, #30daydresschallenge) or style name hashtags (#woolandrowena, #woolandpoppy, #woolandsierra).

4. We also look for:

• A nice background

• Good lighting

• Showing the full length of the dress
  

In addition to “community feature,” some other website updates we made (among many others) were:

• A more robust search feature along with mobile-friendly navigation.

• Wishlist feature

• Color chips now have a line through them if options aren’t available

• Size chart: You can toggle through our body/garment/fit sections

If you’re a member of the wool& Facebook Group (private group that all are welcome to request to join), there is a wool&coffee episode that goes into detail about our website updates.

Balancing Act

We were featured on The Balancing Act, the morning show that airs on Lifetime TV! Such a fun experience to share about the magic of merino wool with so many people.
