Our brand was founded on three principles: live simply, consume carefully, and do good. We created the 30 Day Challenge—where the goal is to wear one dress 30 days in a row—to encapsulate all three principles.

 

Over 3,000 people have completed the challenge and the verdict is in: the benefits are real.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

  1. Let us know that you’re starting the 30 day challenge by dropping your email address in the form below.

  2. Wear any of our dresses for 30 days straight. We feel that you’ll get the most out of the challenge if you wear the dress for around 8 hours each day.

  3. Clue us in during your challenge on social media so we can follow along by tagging #wooland, @wool.and, #30daydresschallenge if you’d like.

  4. After completing the challenge, email us (help@wooland.com) a link to your 30 photos via your preferred file sharing platform (Google Drive/Photos, Dropbox, etc) or your social media account (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc).

  5. Once we confirm that you've completed the challenge, we'll send you a survey and a gift card code for $30 (or €30 for customers of our EU store).

WHY 30 DAYS?

Soon after we launched wool&, we sent our original Rowena Swing Dress to 50 people as part of a 100 day challenge. The results were impressive: 13 people finished, wearing our dress for 100 days straight, and we received many inquiries on how others could join in on the challenge.

Our 100 day challenge confirmed what the wool industry and outdoor enthusiasts alike had been claiming: wool is a performance fabric with remarkable odor-resistant properties. If you’re not already familiar, here are just a few reasons why you’ll love wool. 

In the past two years, over 7,000 customers have completed our 100 day challenge. They have let us know that it’s life-changing in a very positive way! We’ve also heard feedback that some of you are apprehensive about committing to the full 100 days, but you are curious about the benefits of our challenge.

We hear you! With this in mind, we wanted to introduce a shorter challenge that is more accessible to everyone.

Here are some reasons you should give it a try:

  • Spend less time and money doing laundry (hooray!).

  • Learn how to get more wears out of a garment (e.g. when you spill on your dress, you'll immediately take action to clean it since you're wearing it again tomorrow!).

  • Realize that your clothing isn’t what defines you (have you heard of the spotlight effect? It’s a phenomenon in which people tend to believe they are being noticed more than they really are.)

  • Realize what you actually need, and reduce your impact on the planet when you realize you don't need a closet packed full of clothing.

  • Simplify your life and focus on what matters.

JUST A FEW DETAILS

  • There is currently no deadline for the challenge. If we pause the challenge and stop accepting new participants, we will update this post.

  • One 30 Day Dress Challenge per customer per calendar year.

  • To qualify for an annual 30 day challenge, you must receive your dress and begin your challenge within that same year. However, an item purchased in the month of December will be eligible for a challenge the following year.

  • Preorders will be eligible based on shipping delivery date. Challenges are considered applicable to the year you begin the challenge rather than the end date.

  • Once you complete a 30 day challenge, you are eligible for a new 30 day challenge beginning on January 1st of the following year.

  • All wool& dresses and jumpsuits are eligible for the challenge. Other items are not eligible. View all eligible items for the US here or Europe here.

  • Sample sale/mystery sale items or items purchased with a challenge reward/discount code are not eligible for the challenge. Warehouse cleanout items are eligible for the challenge.

  • We don’t accept affiliate partnerships that promote the 30 day challenge.

30-DAY TIPS

  • Hang your dress in a well ventilated area when not in use.

  • If you notice any area starts to smell, wet with warm water and hang to dry overnight.

  • Get creative with your outfits. View styling tips on various styles here.

  • Treat your dress with kindness! We love to see all of the inventive ways that you style your dress. Our dresses are pretty durable as far as dresses go—however, they can’t withstand extreme stress. Please be mindful of this throughout your challenge to prevent damage.
