Hike in our Dresses

Hike in our dresses. Yes, you heard us right.

The harder you sweat, the more impressive merino becomes, because it evaporates sweat and eliminates odors better than any other material on the market. If you want clothing that doesn't smell after a single active outing, make the switch to merino.

Effective activewear is all about the right fabric. And nothing beats merino. A dress is ultra-light, packs well, and cuts down on decision fatigue while traveling or backpacking.

I’ve been hiking in my wool& dresses over the past few months and it’s amazing how well they regulate temperature! Paired with leggings, they are also so much more comfortable than the pants and shirts I used to wear.

In the summer we backpack and every single ounce we pack matters... a spare dress and a pair of shorts is all I need for daytime wear and even sleepwear at night. Never thought I would bring a dress for backpacking but it’s perfect!

we feel that we have to wear specific gear to do the active things that we love. that’s just not true. throw on a merino dress to do all of your blood flowin’ activities. no matter what the adventure is.

My trekking group was dubious that hiking in a dress would work well, but I loved it. Wool is seriously magic.

quick dry.

no odor.

breathable.

I recently took the Brooklyn dress on a 10-day camping trip and wore it almost every day either on its own hiking, over a swimsuit paddle boarding or lounging in front of the camp fire at night, with leggings & a sweater (wish I had those in wool too…). The dress performed beautifully and felt nice and breezy during a couple of 107 degree days. I even slept in it one night and was warm and comfortable. It also pretty much looked and smelled (actually didn’t smell at all) the same throughout the trip, and didn’t require washing except for a grease spot that was easily removed with gentle camp suds at the same time as I was doing dishes.

Wear better hiking gear. Wear merino.
