winter 2022
Hello there! It’s been a minute. it’s been a busy couple seasons for us as we’ve grown our team and introduced tons of new product. like every year, we have so much to be grateful for, and you’re on top of our list. here are some highlights from the last couple months. we hope you’re staying warm and finding joy this season.
in-person sample sale
We experimented with a new location for our in-person sample sale in October–our Portland warehouse! We had a blast seeing new and familiar faces and working as a team in an entirely new way! The turnout was great and we were so pleased to see folks leave with some special wool& and Wool&Prince finds, including some hard to find “unicorns.” We hope to do more of these in-person events in the coming year. Thanks to everyone who came out.
warehouse update
It’s been about 1.5 years since we opened our own warehouse in our HQ town, Portland, OR. We already have taller racking and a lift to accommodate more inventory. We’ve got an incredible team out there who make things happen!

preorder to save section
We have a new, exciting addition to our “special pricing” section on our site called preorder to save. You can select preorder items that have a 10% discount. By purchasing items before they enter production or while they’re being produced, you’re helping fund the production process and helping us gauge demand. We recently added the Aspen Full-Zip Hoodie and Evelyn Shift Dress to preorder to save.
happy returns
U.S. customers can now make returns with Happy Returns. Customers can take their returns/exchanges to Happy Returns “return bars” or print a label at home. We’ve heard positive feedback from this switch and are happy that our streamlining is going smoothly.
team building event
Waaay back in July our Portland team (including our Customer Experience Manager Rebecca who was visiting) participated in a team building improv workshop, put on by Comedy Sportz Portland. No one knew what to expect, but it ended up teaching us a lot about communication between team members, with a lot of laughs sprinkled in between. During an activity, one of the questions that was asked was “what’s not wrong in your life?” We found this question to be rather profound as we considered the small things in our lives that bring us joy, that maybe we wouldn’t typically give the same amount of attention to.
home shoot
We did a fun lifestyle shoot at a home rental in Portland. Thanks Our Plaace for the beautiful space!
Here are some of the finals from the shoot:
“sizing tip”
Our product pages now include a “sizing tip” below the description. This is a great reference when you’re unsure which size to order, as it’s very size specific.
