Rebecca Shares Styling Notes For Her Margo Shift Dress

Rebecca shares styling notes for the Margo Dress

Rebecca shows us eight of her favorite ways to style the Margo shift dress as part of her personal 30 day challenge.

Rebecca is our Community Manager here at wool& and recently shared that the Margo Shift Dress is one of her favorite three-season staples. She wore it for a month as a personal 30 day challenge. This styling diary post showcases eight of her favorite ways to change up the look along with her notes on what she loves about each style.

Look 1

The Margo dress looks great on its own, but I love adding a few items to change up my appearance when I wear the same dress every day. For this look, I paired Axis Midweight Leggings, tall leather boots, a leather belt, and a handwoven scarf by a local artisan.

Look 2

My 100 day challenge taught me to love dresses, but I still have a love affair with denim. The Greta Denim Skirt is a staple because I can pair it with any of my dresses or my favorite wool& tops. I especially love the silhouette it provides with my shift dresses.

Look 3

While I wasn’t sure I could actually tuck my dress into my denim trouser jeans, I am happy to report that it worked really well with minimal bulk and I even received compliments on my striped “top” (which was really the Margo dress in disguise)! This is a look I have definitely repeated!

Look 4

Comfort reigns in my WFH (work from home) life. This outfit includes the Axis Crop Legging and some comfortable barefoot shoes.

Look 5

My family loves to hike so I added comfy sneakers, Axis Crop Leggings, the Aspen Full-Zip Hoodie, and a baseball cap. A few years ago I would have never thought of wearing sneakers and a hat with a dress, but I don’t even question it now. These dresses can do anything!

Look 6

On the days I want to step up my fashion game a bit, I grab my Lou Moto Jacket. The shorter length is so perfect with dresses! For this look, I also added the Axis Midweight Legging and tall leather boots.

Look 7

I’m all about layers, but when the temperature fluctuates so drastically from morning to afternoon, adding a denim jacket with cuffed sleeves is a great way to adapt to changing temperatures. This pendant necklace is one I’ve had for years, but I love how it draws the eye up (and makes me feel tall).

Look 8

Paired with a neutral Julahas cape, wool socks, and barefoot boots. This was another comfy outfit for working from home - I felt put together for video meetings, but comfortable all day.
